Much high praise was given to Codemasters' 2008 racing title, GRID, and a newly released teaser hints at an exciting reveal to come on August 8, 2012 for what can only be GRID 2. The 30-second teaser doesn't show much more than a spinning tire and smoke, but the GRID logo at the end sort of gives things away.
August 8 is just a week shy of Gamescom, which runs from August 15-19 in Cologne, Germany. Given that Codemasters is a UK-based developer/publisher, I think it's fair to say that we'll probably be hearing more about GRID 2 shortly after next week's big reveal.
