Assassin's Creed 3 will be powered by the new AnvilNext engine, a "radically re-designed" game engine which allowed AC 3's developers to "render seamless worlds of nearly infinite possibility."
To show off AnvilNext, Ubisoft sent over a new Assassin's Creed 3 trailer that shows off some of the impressive technical possibilities the new engine allows, including over 1,000 animations for the main character alone, and massive battles featuring up to 2,000 NPCs in a "single sequence." Just take my money already!
