Gearbox's Borderlands 2 will include a "gore toggle," allowing squeamish gamers to turn off the blood, violence and gibs. Also, The "international editions" of the game will be just as violent and gored-out as the North American version, so gamers in Germany and Australia won't be burdened with a less-bloody version of Borderlands 2.
I'm no gorehound or anything, but when there's an option for turning off violence/blood in games, I never, ever use it. I'm not even sure why, honestly. It just seems to me that the default setting on games is somehow "blood, please."
What do you think? Do you turn off the extra grue? Or are you OK with games that are a bloody mess? Let us know in the comment section.
