Agent Hunt Mode has been announced for Resident Evil 6. In the brand new online mode, players will be able to drop in to your game during the first three campaigns (not Ada's) and take over one of the game's zombies, J'avo, or other C-virus mutations in order to try and kill you. As a hunter, players will get access to all sorts of unique movements and attacks of each enemy.
Up to four players will be able to play in Agent Hunt Mode, with two playing the co-op campaign together and two in the enemy mode. If a hunter manages to kill the player, they'll win the match, but if the player is killed, their session will end just as if they had been playing against a standard game enemy. If the hunter isn't able to kill the player and decides to leave the game, the game will continue as normal with AI enemies.
The mode is locked until after completing either Leon, Chris, or Jake's campaign and unlocking the special Agent Hunt stages for each of the campaigns. Agent Hunt mode is completely optional to participate in, but it sounds like an entertaining and challenging addition to RE6's multiplayer.
