The Last Guardian "will ship" according to Sony. When will it ship? Let's not get crazy with our questions! Terms like “when it’s absolutely ready," and "at sometime," were used to describe The Last Guardian's projected release date.
In an interview with Gamespot, PlayStation software dev head Scott Rohde commented on the game many, myself included, feared dead. “I will not give you a detailed update, but I will say one thing and it goes back to innovation and to gamers and to quality. That title is going to ship when it’s absolutely ready.”
It's not much, but we'll take it!
The Last Guardian has been missing in action since Fumito Ueda, the creator of Ico and Shadow of The Colossus, left Sony as a full time employee. It's absence at the past major gaming conventions turned gamers like me into non-believers.
There were gamers out there who never lost hope, gamers like Morgan Webb and Leah Jackson. To gamers like you I say, you were right!
