The fans have spoken: a pitch for a Portal 2-themed LEGO set passed muster with the LEGO community, earning the 10,000 votes that it needs on CuuSoo to be sent along to a LEGO committee for review and possible release. CuuSoo is LEGO's Kickstarter-like crowd-sourcing portal (see what I did there?), a place where fans can go to vote on cool new ideas for LEGO sets.
This is a pretty quick voter turnaround for the Portal 2 set, which we first heard about in late June 2012. A release still isn't guaranteed until the LEGO committee approves it, but it's an important step. CuuSoo is worth a look too if you've never been there.
