The Walking Dead and Silent Hill will be two of the featured themes at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights events in 2012. Halloween Horror Nights is Universal's annual scare-fest filled with terrifying mazes, a tram where zombies run out at you with chainsaws, and Scare Zones, areas where themed characters run around scaring people who walk through them.
The addition of Silent Hill marks the first time that Universal's chosen a video game as the inspiration for Halloween Horror Nights. In the past, Universal's chosen themes from Scream, The Thing, Saw, Friday The 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare On Elm Street, and Hostel.
I'm too much of a scaredy cat to ever visit Halloween Horror Nights, but if The Walking Dead is there, I might have to find some courage. Will you be making a visit this year?
