Game Of Thrones Seven Kingdoms -- The MMO Is Coming

The inevitable "Game of Thrones" MMO is actually happening. It's going to be called Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms and it's being developed by Bigpoint Games. A trailer for the game will be released in a few weeks at San Diego Comic-Con 2012.

Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms will be a free-to-play browser based RPG. The developers, Bigpoint, have worked on other sci-fi/fantasy MMOs like the Battlestar Galactica Online and Drakensang Online. The game will be based off of the HBO series, and not the "Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R.R. Martin. The game picks up after the events of season one, which is based off of book one. Confused? Perfect! 

Details about the game are limited, but I'm sure we'll get more at Comic-Con. I hope I get to play as a Targaryen since my playstyle is to take what is mine, with fire and blood.
