Borderlands: The Show Really Needs To Happen. Like, Now.

Borderlands: The Show is a novel idea, but it wasn't until I saw the fan-made trailer above that I started to believe in the idea of a running TV-style narrative built around a loot-focused game. Gearbox Software definitely established a strong voice for the series in the 2009 game, and that voice is played with well in the fan-made trailer for this as-yet-unrealized series.

The trailer's YouTube page (via Kotaku) notes that the video is the work of two fans, who shot the thing in two days and edited it in two weeks. Two burritos also apparently gave their lives for this project. The video's poster, YouTuber Clap Cardboardian, asks you to imagine what could be possible with four fans, four days to shoot, four weeks to edit, and four sacrificial burritos. Here's hoping they get to work out an answer to that riddle.
