Regardless of your feelings on the whole “reboot of a franchise that just wrapped up five years ago” situation surrounding the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man, the movie’s existence has brought with it at least one surprising companion: a truly stellar…or, should I say, amazing game!
That’s right. As our review Jonathan Deesing explains, the game delivers all of the web slinging, stomach dropping, acrobatic Spidey action fans have been waiting for since easily the most revered Spider-Man game ever.
"Slick visuals, detailed design, tried and true combat all make for a solid title. Add in fan service, such as awesome collectibles (comic book pages that allow you to read original Spider-Man comic books on your TV) and ambient missions actually worth doing (gone are the days of chasing children’s balloons), and The Amazing Spider-Man is the first Spider-Man game I can recommend since Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 2."
