Black Ops 2 Could Be Bringing Back The Nuketown Multiplayer Map

It's looking like Treyarch plans to bring back the Nuketown multiplayer map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Ask anyone what their favorite Black Ops multiplayer map was and most will reply with that one. It was such a fan-favorite that Double XP Weekends frequently featured a Nuketown 24/7 playlist, offering all Nuketown, all the time.

Ah, memories.

The news of Nuketown's Black Ops 2 return -- as Nuketown 2025 -- comes from a tipster photo shared by IGN. The image comes from Irish retailer Xtravision, with a posting that outs the map as a day one pre-order bonus. There are no other details yet regarding the new face of Nuketown, but I'm always a fan of revising vintage fan-favorite multiplayer maps for sequels/DLC packs and I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that this turns out to be true.
