Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata confirms that the upcoming 3DS XL will support dual analog control games with a freshly super-sized version of the Circle Pad Pro (via Kotaku). There's no price or release date yet, but with dual analog-supporting 3DS games already out in the wild, one would hope that the updated peripheral will arrive on or around the 3DS XL's August 19, 2012 release.
The 3DS XL was only recently announced, offering gamers an improved battery life and a larger pair of screens to play on. We've yet to see the thing in action yet, but the 3DS is a capable little device and it's reasonable to expect that the 3DS XL will be a capable bigger device. You can get one for yourself on August 19 for $199.
