Haunt Announced For XBLA Kinect

Kinect-owning Xbox 360 users based in the U.S. are in for a little treat thanks to a promotion that makes the horror-adventure game Haunt, from PaRappa the Rapper creator Masaya Matsuura, completely free to download for a limited time. Simply browse over to the new Kinect Central homepage on your Xbox 360 dashboard to find the associated download tab. Make sure you do it by July 2, 2012, however, as that's the last day for the promotion.

Haunt got reasonably solid reviews following its January 2012 release. Players explore a haunted house using their motion-sensing camera, with one hand managing a flashlight while the other handles things like opening doors and pulling levers. It's a simple game, but it's fun and totally free, provided you've got a Kinect and an Internet connection.
