Tomb Raider

The new voice of Lara Croft in Crystal Dynamics' upcoming rebooted take on Tomb Raider is now confirmed as Camilla Luddington (via The Guardian), a TV actress who is perhaps best known for her role on HBO's True Blood as the recurring fifth season character (a fairy!), Claudette Crane. She also recently appeared in multiple episodes during the fifth season of Showtime's David Duchovny-starring series, Californication.

Luddington didn't just bring her voice to the Lara role either. She's also responsible for all of the motion-capture work that gives the in-game character such a lifelike set of animations, as we saw in our Tomb Raider preview from E3 2012. Square Enix will release the highly anticipated Tomb Raider reboot on March 5, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC platforms.
