A Wreck-It Ralph game is being developed by Activision in collaboration with Disney Interactive to release in conjuction with the animated movie later this fall. Wreck-It Ralph, the movie, tells the story of a clumsy 8-bit video game villain named Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly) who, after for 30 years, gets sick of being overshadowed by his game's hero, Fix-It Felix, so he decides to hop in to other arcade games to prove that he can be a hero as well.
"Wreck-It Ralph, as a brand entity, is perfectly suited for video game stardom," said David Oxford, Executive Vice President, Activision Publishing. "With the fantastic characters and creative atmosphere envisioned by Walt Disney Animation Studios, we know fans are going to love seeing their newfound favorite characters embark on an all-new side scrolling adventure."
The Wreck-it Ralph game will start where the movie leaves off, with Ralph and Fix-It Felix becoming partners in order to save their friends from a Cy-Bug Invasion. Players will be able to control both characters, and each of them will have differents sets of abilities that will get them through levels like Sugar Rush, Hero's Duty, and Fix-It Felix, Jr., and more.
Wreck-It-Ralph will be out for the Nintendo Wii, 3DS, and DS this fall.
