Cheats and Walkthroughs
It appears that Activision will soon be releasing a Mac OSX version of Call of Duty: Black Ops, according to recently updated Steam database listings. The browser-based Steam database tracker now includes OSX listings for the 2010 Call of Duty game as well as all of the assorted DLC packs -- First Strike, Escalation, Annihilation, and the Zombies-focused Rezurrection -- that came out for it, as of June 23, 2012.
There's been no confirmation from Activision or Treyarch of a Mac release for Black Ops, but this database tracker pulls its data directly from Steam's inner workings. The Steam releases of Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP and Alan Wake's American Nightmare were both outed early by the tracker as well, with the games in both cases coming out just a few weeks after the database update.
It's worth noting that, if the database listing is true, this is the first time since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that the series has seen a Mac release (thanks Ben Gilbert!). Needless to say, we're checking with Activision on this one and will update you accordingly when we know more.
