Nexon is going to be offering several of their free-to-play games on Steam. The company announced that the FTP MMO Vindictus is available now and the next game to come to Steam will be the colorful MMO Dungeon Fighter Online. Combat Arms will be coming to Valve's digital distribution service later in June.
“Providing our games on Steam is about making it as easy as possible for players to access our games,” said Nexon America CEO Daniel Kim. “Valve has been a great global partner to Nexon for many years, and this agreement continues the marriage of Nexon’s immersive content with Valve’s strong distribution channel and large player community."
He continued, "With Valve’s introduction of a free-to-play channel, there are now even more opportunities for our two companies to work together. In addition to now being able to access these best-in-class titles on the Steam platform, players will experience new updates, character introductions and special events along with each game’s launch.”
Since June 2011, Steam has added 29 different free-to-play titles to its service. With the addition of Nexon's highly acclaimed titles coming to Steam, even more gamers will be introduced to their lush worlds and hopefully this means that their communities will grow larger as well.
