BioWare has released the details for the next Mass Effect 3 N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Savage, and the big hook for this new challenge is getting players to use some of the non-human races in the Mass Effect universe. The community goal for Operation Savage is to take down 7 million trooper-level enemies across the three factions. In other words: make sure you take out any Cerberus Assault Troopers, Geth Troopers, Husks, or Cannibals that you see.
There's a catch though: BioWare's set an additional squad goal that requires players to complete a full Galaxy at War runthrough on any difficulty using a squad filled out by Krogan, Batarian, and Vorcha classes. Note that the latter two races were added to the mode as DLC and are only available via in-game booster packs that you can buy with either earned credits or real-life cash-money.
Operation Savage kicks off for anyone who owns Mass Effect 3 on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 6pm PST and it runs through to 4am PST on Monday, June 25. Commendation and Victory packs will be distributed to players starting on Tuesday evening, as usual.
