Blizzard's Diablo 3 tinkering continues with the release of the latest patch, bringing the game up to version 1.0.3. It won't take you long to download, but expect to spend a significant amount of time poring over the long, long, LONG list of tweaks, updates, and fixes.
How long, you ask? Let's put it this way: the latest Diablo 3 patch notes on Battle.net include a freaking hyperlinked table of contents. No that's nothing new, but I still think it's funny. You can see the full breakdown on the official site, but some of the patch's marquee broad strokes include more power balancing among the different classes, tweaked item drop rates for the tougher difficulties, lowered requirements for higher-level blacksmith upgrades, and a variety of tweaks to boss behaviors.
I'd post the full list after the jump, but I'm afraid that so much text would break the site. Besides that, there's Diablo 3 to be played!
