Capcom already has one current-gen re-release of Okami on Nintendo's Wii, but the publisher now confirms that the latter-day PlayStation 2 adventure will be coming to PlayStation 3 in fall 2012 with newly upgraded visuals and added Move controller support. Okami HD will be released as a PlayStation Network download with a $19.99 price tag. There's no mention of plans for a PS Vita version as well, but the portable device's touch screen and processing power could certainly do right by the Clover Studio game.
Just saying.
The remastered game won't feature any new content other than Trophies, but the above trailer demonstrates just how much of an improvement the HD re-skin brings to the game. In fairness, I don't recall any of my PS2 games looking quite as blurry as the trailer's comparison shots are, but I also don't care. This is Okami in HD. Shut up and take my money.
