Half-Life Remake Black Mesa Spotted In New Screens

While fans continue to wait somewhat patiently for Valve to at least confirm Half-Life 3, work continues on the Black Mesa fan project, which aims to re-create the original Half-Life using HD visuals in a total conversion mod for Half-Life 2. The project has been progressing slowly since it was announced in 2004, but these screens are joined by the promise of more to come soon.

The newly posted Facebook album popped up (via Twitter) after the developer launched Black Mesa's first social campaign, promising a reveal once 20,000 Likes were logged. The text accompanying the photos makes the promise that "we have more in store for you in the near future." Which, again, is more than we've gotten from Valve on the Half-Life 3 front.
