Nintendo Land for Wii U Announced

Ground was broken on Nintendo Land for the Wii U at the Nintendo E3 2012 Press Conference.  The video game publisher said that the goal of this party game is to unite living rooms and people all around the world. That, of course, means Nintendo Land will feature multiplayer gameplay for up to five participants, or, if you want to get cute, "antendees." There will be a total of 12 mini-games, or "attractions" in the final version of Nintendo Land. Five of the 12 games will be on the E3 2012 showfloor at Nintendo's booth.

The Nintendo Land games list so far includes Donkey Kong's Crash Course, Luigi's Ghost Mansion, Animal Crossing: Sweet Day, The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest and Takamaru's Ninja Castle.  Each attraction allows you to further explore a renowned Nintendo franchise.

Luigi's Ghost Mansion was the Nintendo Land mini-game shown off the most during the E3 press conference. The demo had one player assume the role of a ghost and only be visible on the Wii U Gamepad screen. Everyone else (up to four players) controlled a flashlight-wielding ghost hunter on the television. Like Chase, a tech demo seen at the last E3, Nintendo Land for Wii U demonstrated a unique gameplay that the individual Wii U Gamepad screen can provide.
