Miyamoto introduces us to the new Pikmin 3 title for the Wii U.
As one of the first games designed for the Wii U, Pikmin 3 takes advantage of the smaller second screen on the controller by giving you access to the map at all times. Now with four leaders to control, you'll need to use the map to move from each one of them if you want to survive in this tiny wilderness. Oddly enough, Captain Olimar was missing from the rooster. Where did he go and how does this fit into main story? We'll have to get our hands on it to find out.
Pikman 3 not only brings sharper graphics, but also more of those adorable Pikmin to the stage. The new Rock-type Pikmin will be able to break through objects easier than your typical little sprout.
At E3 2012, we'll be able to get our hands on the challenge mode, where we test our Pikmin skills against the clock in order to collect the most fruit. Players will be able to record their playthrough and watch as they take on the world. Learn. Collect. Win.
