Cheats and Walkthroughs
Last year, the Sony Press Conference brought out the big guns with their PlayStation Vita reveal, the Dust 514 exclusive, and something called “Transfarring.” We look to this year with hope for more exclusives and hints at what the next console cycle may have in store for us.
As I eagerly clutch my Move controller in my sweaty hand, I turn to the greatest gaming minds at G4 to find out you can expect when Sony takes to the stage this E3 2012.
I’ve been saying it for years, but this will be the one where we finally get a release date for The Last Guardian (Ducks from incoming tomatoes). I know. I know. But I just really want/need to know it’s a real thing and not just some widely publicized dream. Is that so wrong?! Sony might also finally offer an official apology for the PlayStation Move.
I predict Sony’s press conference will heavily focus on the PlayStation Vita handheld and the games and peripherals coming to it later this year. The system’s only been out a few months, but maybe they’ll announce new colors or even a new model of the device itself. What I want to see at the Sony press conference is any Last Guardian footage, but I’m pretty positive at this point we won’t be seeing any for the fourth or fifth year in a row. Sigh.

Sony will introduce some PS Vita titles that they hope will keep them out of the red. Their hope will be a mistake. Until they figure out how to dominate the mobile phone market, they will forever be left out of the handheld race. In the meantime, they will need to lower the price on their PS3 because no one wants an overpriced Blu-Ray player anymore.
No next gen stuff. Focus on PS3 lineup, particularly God of War: Ascension, Playstation All-Stars, Sly 4, and probably a surprise or two. Hopefully some kind of lineup announcement or other news that can make me stop regretting purchasing a Vita on launch day. Possibly announcement of online streaming/cloud partnership.
Robot eats everyone.
Sony is going to play it safe this year. And honestly, that could be their best bet at bringing consumers and their loyal fan base back to the product. Roll out the exclusives. Focus more on downloadable content. Let’s see a price drop. While big and flashy headlines often get front billing at E3, solid titles for the fall will always get my money.
Sony is going to announce A BRAND NEW RIDGE RACER and it's going to be balls to the walls madness! I think we're going to see lots of software, The Last of Us, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, Sly Cooper 4, etc. The Sony presser will be our first glimpse at God of War: Ascension's story.
Sadly I think they are going to try and push the Move too. I was over this accessory before it was released so I'm less than stoked to see more from it. GOOD JOB JEREMY!
