Dark Souls on PC

Namco Bandai's upcoming PC release of Dark Souls introduces new content to the 2011 action-RPG, and now the publisher confirms that this content will also be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players as DLC. The "Artorias of the Abyss" add-on inserts additional locations, enemies, bosses, NPCs, and gear into From Software's game, IGN reports.

The DLC add-on will carry a cost of 1,200 MS Points on Xbox Live and $14.99 on the PlayStation Network. The release is pegged for this "winter," which could mean late 2012 or early 2013. In either case, it'll be sometime after Dark Souls hits PCs on August 24, 2012. To get a better sense of what's new, take a look at our Dark Souls: Prepare to Die preview.
