A player named Yoshichan has already beat Diablo 3 -- in under 13 hours. Diablo 3 was in development for over 10 years and many gamers have been waiting for the action RPG for the majority of their adult lives. Yoshi claims to have beat the game on normal in 12 hours and 29 minutes. He finished at level 32 with a Frenzy Barbarian with, "lots and lots of mobility and defensive skills."
I say more power to Yoshichan. I used to stay up and power game all through the night whenever a huge title was released so I can understand the exhilaration of not only having the game, but being the first to accomplish a huge feat.
Now that Yoshi's beaten the normal version of the game, chances are he's going right in to the Hardcore portion of the game, where he'll need to use those mobility and defensive skills to the test because in Hardcore mode in Diablo 3, if your character dies, it's gone forever.
What do you think of Yoshichan's accomplishment? Would you even call it an accomplishment at all? Let us know in the comments section.

A lot of you are really IGNORANT. Beating the game on normal difficulty isn't even technically beating it. You still have Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno mode. Not to even mention Hardcore mode, where if you die you die for good and of course the servers are going to go down when a flood of people get on them. F Effing morons. I bet 90% of the people on here don't even know what Diablo is really about. Ignorant tools.

Why is it even a thing? Who cares how long they took to beat the playthrough? The only important things about Diablo are your level, your current loot, and your current difficulty.

at 13 hours or like 10+? i beat the game in 8 hours and like 57 minutes as frenzy barb. I skipped all the side missions and got enough decent drops to keep me going. I started just as the servers came up and sat there all night not one disconnect or any errors. I used the templar to keep me healed along with buying potions only when i ran out (which wasnt really that often) When I had a full inventory i'd sell all of my whites and break my blues and started selling my blues at the end of act 2 since i found out that it would be pointless to keep them.

Congrats! The man wasted 10 years of his life waiting and finished it in 13 hours, at least he can trade it in at gamestop for 45 dollars this week.

Sadly if this is the kind of short gameplay I am expecting, I'm cancelling my pre order , yes I haven't picked it up yet. Gonna piss my boss off to no end but if this games already going swtor crap and blizz is jumping on the wagon with more crap in tow. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

awesome, except over in South Korea they are laughing at his time, they did it in 5 hours, so how does 13 hours compete with that?

I do not understand why this is such a big deal. He wasted his money just so he could stupidly say that he beat the game first... ON NORMAL. -sarcastic clapping- Bravo. Beat it on Inferno, kid. And honestly, for God's sake, actually pay attention to everything and ENJOY the money spent, which proverbially burnt a hole in your wallet, doofus. lol A game is not worth the money spent unless you take your time in it and explore EVERYTHING, not just main quest the sucker all the way through. A dog could do that nowadays. lol Just sayin'.

Sounds like he'll be done with all of the difficulties in no time. Then he can give his copy of the game to me and I'll actually take my time and enjoy it.

Me and my friends got to ACT 3 in about 12 hours and that is because we spent the first 1 trying to get into the game and then..... we got kicked out and we decided it was best to leave and come back later,
