As you can see, the Assassin's Creed 3 trailer gives a deeper look at the franchise’s new hero... fighting a freakin' BEAR, as well as a ton of different dudes. Running takedowns, face-stabbings, and everything you love. Here's the official description:

@yoda313 No offense but you're pretty stupid. How does that not look like gameplay footage. I only saw few parts that were cinematics. The gameplay looks amazing and I can guarantee you that you might have to kill 20 guys at once every now and then just as a warm up. But you are right correct in the sense that it doesn't feel like they showed us much people had hoped, what with the first look and all. I'm waiting to see the actual demo that they showed at pax east. If anything, that's when the game will truly shine.

I still say this isn't gameplay footage. Its trailer/cutscene stuff.
I like it and want more.
However I want to see the actual "gameplay" footage. I want to see the combat system. I want to see a tomahawk blow in action. Give me more people!
