I think they are over shooting. We wanted multi-player not an MMO. I would far rather have the ES world as is and have 4 player co-op than a full on MMO. I am tired of the MMO trend. I like SWTOR but KOTOR 3 would have been much better. Look at blizzard, they didn't turn Diablo into an MMO. They created a 4 player online RPG like the prior games. When every one in the world is a hero you start to feel like your just another John Doe on the street. RPG's need to go back to focusing on individuality and small group heroics. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if a FF7 MMO and the world is filled with Cloud and Sepheroth characters.

All I can say is I won't be playing it, don't like MMOs.
If Elder Scrolls 6 gets delayed or even scrapped because of it I'll be really annoyed.

Twitter.. how stupid. Anyone who uses one to voice their opinion on anything automatically voids any little credibility they had. However, the Elder Scrolls online should be scrapped, and maybe if fans would not have enticed so much about it the developers would've probably not pushed it forward. There is no way anyone would know before hand that it would be such a let down.

I feel like I'm the only one with this mentality but - I'd rather have an Elder Scrolls VI than an MMO.
Purely because there are so many MMORPGs out there but only one decent first person RPG series that plays the way TES does and that is of course TES.
I really don't see 'The Elder Scrolls' game style being translated into an MMO and so it will probably take the standard MMO game format and just set it in Tamriel which could be fun and all but not as fun as another full Elder Scrolls game.
I'm still looking forward to it - Bethesda are great! I'd just rather have a TES: VI :D

The only way that ESO could be a good game is by being unlike any other MMO, in the sense that it can run on my crappy PC, have a single player mode, and not make me have to pay a stupid monthly subscription if I pay full price for it, and have game mechanics similar to regular ES games, so that way it could be like any other ES game except for having a multiplayer mode. other than that, the only other great aspect is that this will be the second ES game where you can explore all of Tamriel.
