GameStop is trying out something a little bit different with the pre-order bonuses for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which we now know will be hitting stores on November 13, 2012. Additional incentives promise gamers bigger rewards for committing to buy the game earlier rather than later.
It works like this: GameStop will offer four separate waves of pre-order bonuses for Black Ops 2. Put down money during the first wave, and you're guaranteed those bonuses plus anything else that's coming further down the road. Step up for the second wave and you'll get those goodies, plus anything that comes after it. And so on.
The first wave is already underway, with pre-order customers receiving a double-sided poster. As an added incentive, GameStop PowerUp Rewards members who put in their pre-order by June 30 will also receive a Prestige Token for use in Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer mode.
