Skyrim's DLC will be called "Dawnguard." Bethesda dropped the title, the image you see above on their blog, but they gave very little other information. Although we do know that it's coming this summer to Xbox 360. Bethesda promises more details about the downloadable content at E3 2012.
Because we have so little information to go on, it's the perfect time to wax philosophical in our comment section. Tell us what you'd like to see this summer when Skyrim's Dawnguard DLC is released.

add armor for horses also i think it would be cool it u made it possible for a vampire/warewolf hybrid or atleast make it possible to become both of them multiple times also if your gonna bring in snow elves you need the dwarves also i would also like a dlc where you can go travel all the homelands of each rave that would be badass
MrIrish
Give me more about the Dwemer dammit!
Chrisid

Why does everyone want to kill the snow elves, they seem like the victims, I want to help them.

I love that I can turn iron into gold, breathe under water, and summon a demon to fight for me. Why can't I climb a g**dam* rock?

Dragon mounts, it was lame when you thought you were going to experience riding odaving and he even said your going to be envious of dragons ability to fly ( or something like that) and then it didn't even show you riding the dragon seriously I'd rather see myself riding the dragon than see that 15 minute long carriage ride at the beggining. Also plaease let me craft arrows

I don't know about you guys but I would like to see more custum gear that you can make via the blacksmith. For a exmple I run a battlemage but I don't like to run havey<-fail armor becuse its slow so I run the mage robes and the down side of that is that I can't take hits so if they were to allow me to put some steel plates on the robes I'll be happy and I'm really looking foreword to the DLC this summer LOL!!!!!

Amen, you do get what you pay for. Tired of the level conspiracy theory that goes along with gaming.

Everyone thats complaining about inequality and xbox owners getting it first are just upset that they don't get the dlc so they are all mad. I bet if they released it for ps3 or pc first you all wouldn't care about this customer equality stuff all you whiners are posting. So man up and either get an xbox or shut up.

I think it could be an offshoot of the blades that guard againstany evil Daedric activity.

All of you, just stop being pissy about xbox getting the DLC first. All of the systems have their ups in this sort of thing. Xbox 360 gets the DLC first. PC gets it for free. And PS3 gets free psn access. Like they always say,"You get what you pay for"

Favoritism? I'd say that's an overstatement. Microsoft likely just paid to get theirs first. This doesn't give superiority to either machine, and to say so would move towards another apples vs. oranges debate. Patience is a virtue. Therefore, I will consider this somewhat of a closed beta for Microsoft users, and continue to look forward to the ps3 release.

Too bad sidebar didn't shoot himself in the head like Seau.

maybe the dawngaurd is some old order founded to keep elves out of skyrim, was disbanded long ago (before the great war was even a threat), and you know must start it up to take the thalmor out of skyrim forever

Sure microsoft paid more because they have more money coming in from their users. That being said I am angry and disappointed that companies keep treating customers that happen to have a different console based on how much money that console owner pays you. If you have respect for your fans they should be treated equal.

My theory is that the picture says more than just glowing eyes and Bethesda knew people would only see a picture instead of information. I see clear skies and no mountains in the backdrop, which either means that he's on the top of a mountain or in a large, open area. Also, his eyes are glowing orange, which I think is either the Dovahkiin learned to control and/or ride dragons or he can now shoot lasers from his eyes. If the "leaked" DLC info was correct and not a rumor, then it might be in Hammerfell, and before anyone says, "but they said they wouldn't be going to different provinces" bethesda put all that work into the "backdrop" of the other provinces and have exits from skyrim into those provinces to not do anything with them. Some people think that those exits are just for aesthetics, but I ask you this, why were they in no TES game before skyrim? The "leaked" DLC info was that there was going to be a DLC that was in Hammerfell and that there was a new (redguard)guild that tamed the dragons and were able to ride dragons and they would teach you this ability, so when this was released I though that the glowing eyes might be the Dovahkiin controlling/riding a dragon.

idk, but I bet it somehow ties in with Joss Whedon's Avengers.
