Skyrim's DLC will be called "Dawnguard." Bethesda dropped the title, the image you see above on their blog, but they gave very little other information. Although we do know that it's coming this summer to Xbox 360. Bethesda promises more details about the downloadable content at E3 2012.
Because we have so little information to go on, it's the perfect time to wax philosophical in our comment section. Tell us what you'd like to see this summer when Skyrim's Dawnguard DLC is released.

I strongly agree with Gooblar91 on those topics. I've always wanted Sephiroth hair and a wide selection of katana's and nodachi's. Plus, even though it doesn't matter, but being able to buy your own property, cave, ect.. would be rather cool. That is one thing I loved about Morrowind, where you can have 2 settlements. New races, locations, equipment, and most importantly a tailor like in Fable 2 would be some welcome installments. I only play it on PS3, and I hope we get the DLC, but if not, well, whatever then...

i think ushould b able tochoose if ur one handed weapons are used as one or two handed, spears, crossbows all sound cool dragon weapons, more Races more animals in the wild i think a set place where vampires/werewolves meet like a city but smaller more like a camp would b cool make the dogs look cooler store stuff in the bags on horses and u sbould b able to fight while ur on ur horse the barber shop sounds cool and ur hair should actually grow so u can get a long ass beard

There needs to be cloaks that go over your armor like cloth with no armor just to look cool kinda like nightingale armor so we can still look like a thief if we wanna wear dragonscale or glass armor, or more like a ranger. Variants of hooded and non-hooded cloaks would make it perfect. I've been playing since morrowind and I've always wished there were some type of cloak.

First and foremost, spears. Id like more race to choose from. No more shouts. More customization. More armor and weapon varieties. Return of dwemer and frost elves. Be able to rule a hold. None of that vampire city nonsense. That defeats the purpose. I wanna go to oblivion. And an arena. I miss that. And last but not least. LEt us go to morrowind and cyrodill again.

I want crossbows and spears anthe the ability to fly dragons and be a snow elf and go back to cyrodill and morrowind, or be a bandit or a pirate!

I kind of like it when theres a thief but everyone gangs up on him and kills him I'm a few seconds what about a bandit raid. Maybe a bandit story line: joining a bandit gang or the forsworn maybe rising to be chief, raiding towns or travelers, having a hideout. Ulfric or Elisif actually become high king or queen and you become jarl at either Windhelm or Solitude depending on whether you chose stormcloaks or legion. Maybe more silver weapons for werewolves and undead like silver arrows really. And those saying a werewolf or vampire town would be stupid what about just a little secret disclosed town like in a cave for vampires and in the woods for werewolves. And I want to actually see some vampires and werewolves running around in the wilderness

Ild like to be able to use lockpicks on doors that require keys,like the thalmor embassy.
also the weapons racks are glitchie thay don't hold my weapon's.but Dragon bone or scale weapons would be
awesome also the ability to craft arrows.
Just for giggles add a barber and maby a tattooist.
Oh and to be able to store items in your horses saddle bags like with your followers,or rest using the bed roll.

Finally some Skyrim DLC! For all you whiny bastards reading this you should just be happy that Dlc is coming out. Better late than never. Now concerning werewolves and Vampires getting powered up and getting cities? that is a terrible idea and i mean TERRIBLE ---> -.- Frankly , Vampires and Werewolves shouldn't be juiced up and be rid of their let downs because they've always had them like how both have a weakness to silver. They have to have some let down, the game is about being the Dragonborn, not a werewolf or a Vampire. that's only a benefit of being awesome as the Dragon Born. Another thing is neither werewolves or vampires should have cities. they're hunted down because of what they are if they got together somewhere some what public they'd be wiped out. I don't mind the idea of a control of a city, with barbers and other stuff mentioned. Dragon fights should be more intense. Right now like two trolls can take a dragon and win. T_T its upsetting. I like the idea of Dragon Bone weapons and more armor customization however, the fact that you want it from an earlier Elder Scrolls game is upsetting as well. the earlier games weren't even games to me. I tip my hat to the story of each but the way they played was TERRIBLE and the level up system was... i don't even want to talk about it. Basically more Monsters would be nice and the idea of different weapons sounds pretty ballin' Another thing is more shouts would be stupid. How often do you actually use the Dragon shouts? I personally only use them when i going to die and it'll save my ass or when i have varies enemies lined up for the unrelenting force shout however combining shouts would be cool. Spell creation sounds like it would be awesome as well. however, I've heard people complain about it as well from Oblivion. Anyways, the news of the DLC makes me pretty happy plus i hear that crossbows will be added :D and finding out more about the snow elves sounds awesome as well.

I want to be able to rule a city as a Jarl, something like Dragon Age did with Awakening. The dragons should be way more diverse and their combat style should be more dynamic. I want more shouts, better daedra quests, spell creation abilities again, more development on the war with the high elves, city defense and war interactions kind of like what they did in Assassins Creed Revelations with the den defense stuff, but I think with Skyrim that could be way more developed and interactive. Make me feel like I am the dragonborn; ya it's awesome to go out and just lay waste to badies with my sword, magic and arrows, but I want to be able to leverage my allies, I'm a Thane in every city dammit. I want to be able to upgrade keeps, and renovate cities and armies in the war with the Empire (I went with the rebellion) and Thalmor. A vampire city and werewolf city would be awesome. We already have a freaking amazing Skyrim, don't just give me more of the same amazingness; entice me with newer content and gaming systems. Do it!!! And I like the other guys thing too, bring back horse armor and how do I get shadowmere back I think I killed him, he's a freaking summoned horse though let me summon him back!

If the DLC is'nt what is promised, then I'm afriad Bethesda is going to lose alot of support from the PS3 community. From what I've seen so far it seems Bethesda is more interested in bringing out Elder Scrolls Online than they are of makeing Skyrim work properly.

i would absolutely kill.... if there was at least one town full of vampires and that they would be on a different schedule than everyone else.... like businesses bein open at 8 pm instead of AM. make vampires travel faster at night too.... i mean they are cool to be but the disadvantages take away from the game. and im all on board for spears. the one epic thing bethesda did was spears... and they took it out on their greatest accomplishment....and what happened to horse armor? and it would be cool to be able to have a barber in game to change ur characters hair....and i want to know why u cant learn the shout alduin uses to make fireballs come out of the sky....and what about actually affecting the economy? or becoming a jarl of at least one place u can choose in the game? also occasional raids of towns and cities would be awesome. have giants or stampedes of mammoths kill small townsfolk.... i could litteraly throw out ideas all day... i just hope bethesda uses at least half of the ones people are desperately trying to get them to FINALLY put in the game..... and for god sakes allow archers to shoot enchanted arrows or at least shoot more than one arrow at a time..... archers are my absolute fav.... and it would be awesome to finally not be using the exact same motions over and over and over and over to kill the harder creatures.

i enjoy the idea of seeing snow elves. and maybe do what bioware did with the protheans in Mass effect 3 and allow you to have a snow elf as a companion.

I think throwing weapons like knives axes or javelins would be cool also spears one handed or two handed I think a shield and spear would be cool then I would actually use a shield. Horse combat would also be cool. And more abilities for werewolves and vampires. Also a city that's a safe haven for vampires or werewolves. Also a return of jyggalg at least a daedric quest.

really the only thing i want is a map extension and maybe you can travel back to morrowind by the cart (or walk it would be nice to see the route) because i have basically coverd every area in skyrim also if there were spears or polearms would be good

I mainly want two things: the return of Umbra, and the ability to choose more evil options. Umbra was my favorite blade in Oblivion (not so much in Morrowind; it was two handed), so I'd like to see an involved quest with it. I also love being evil. I got the Darkness 2 when it was released, and it was fantastic. Evil abounded. I get tired of saving everybody. I'd love to doom people for a change. Slaughter them. Burn them to a crisp. Whatever floats my boat at any given time. While it's true that I can do this at my leisure, I'd like to have the game, and its denizens, recognize my status as truly evil. I'd prefer to have this without the rating system of the Fallout series, where every action counts. I want just quest choices to count. It'd certainly be awesome to have an evil quest choice with Umbra.

Really.. This summer.. so wait over 8 months for a DLC just in time for the release of 5 other highly anticipated games... not exactly a smart business move.. I have already lost interest. Fix the bugs, add a co-op and dont make us wait for some garbage like season changes, water current and shading. I am not expecting DLC every month like some other companies *cough* Activision *cough* out to make a quick buck, but 8 months is a bit ridiculous.
