Dragon's Lair will be released on Xbox Live Arcade on May 18th, 2012. The classic game, originally released in 1983, once caused me to punch an arcade cabinet in frustration. The cabinet was not harmed. I was. (True story.) Digital Leisure's latest release of Dragon's Lair will have Kinect support.
Check out the trailer below!
If you're considering downloading this title next month, I would preemptively apologize to any and all downstairs neighbors.

Honestly its a nice touch but I dont think I will buy this. The controller versions that I have are good enough. I really dont need to jump around with my kinect. However it is a nice touch and idea.
Hope it sells :)

Don Bluth must not have seen this trailer because as an artist and animator myself, I find it rather insulting that such a horrible execution of 3D animation was used in this trailer for a game that's all about 2D animation at its finest. Even an live action version of the character would have not distracted me so much.
I like Dragon's Lair, but sadly this looks like one of the best Kinect games out there which isn't saying much considering it wasn't made for Kinect to begin with.
Maybe someday Kinect will reach its potential but taking classics and butchering them is not the way to do it. I mean, come on...taking a two sword-button and single joystick game and turning it into FruitNinja-Central...no dice....
