Valve have revealed their free Portal 2 puzzle maker DLC, titled "Perpetual Testing Initiative." PTI will allow players to create, share, and play Portal 2 puzzles via a simplified puzzle maker that won't require them to leave the game. The puzzle maker will be able to directly publish maps on the Steam Workshop, where other players can then browse, vote, and play them. The best of the best maps will automatically be downloaded and installed in Portal 2.
"Perpetual Testing Initiative" will be out on May 8 for the PC and Mac.

Hang on people. I bought the PS3 version of the game and it came with a code for Steam. so quit your bitching and get on Steam, download Portal 2, and get building. I personally can't wait to get into an create some deviously hard maps, maybe some easy ones too.

It was entirely stupid that Portal 2 didn't have a custom map editor to begin with. So glad this is out. Now I no longer feel bad that I bought a Steam copy of the game instead of renting a console version.
