Starting today, April 20, 2012, you too can take a crack at Blizzard's ongoing beta for Diablo 3. Starting today at 3pm ET/12pm PT, anyone with a Battle.net account and BattleTag (both of which are free to create) can go ahead and download the beta client, install it, and start playing. You'll be able to keep doing so until Monday, April 23 at 1pm ET/10am PT.
The brief opening of the Diablo 3 beta, which ends on May 1 in advance of the game's long-awaited May 15 release, is meant to serve as a three-day stress test to help the Blizzard team prepare for what is likely to be a large influx of new players next month.

It was fun while it lasted, but it was a demo lol, not a beta.

it's not a beta, it's a DEMO. 1 hour of content does not make a beta.

This would be cool if i hadn't had the beta for months.
I figure most people will spend longer downloading than
playing this demo.
Getting closer to killin' ol' lava lips every day, though.
