God Of War: Ascension Announcement Trailer

God of War: Ascension has been announced, and it's not God of War 4. The upcoming PS3 exclusive will take place before the events of the first God of War, and we assume, before Chains of Olympus. We don't know much about the game yet, but according to the God of War: Ascension trailer it will take place before Kratos became the Ghost of Sparta. It will take on Kratos' origin story, and fingers crossed, his teen years!

My money is on it being about the horible things Ares had him do after becoming his servant with the game ending at the point that he kills his wife and child and becoming the ghost of sparta. Maybe even making the false deal with the gods to kill Ares in exchange for erasing his memories of what he did to his family
