SSX Tricky-Inspired DLC Is Coming Soon To SSX

SSX will be getting its first downloadable content on May 1, 2012 in the form of two packs inspired by SSX Tricky, an update from EA Sports confirms. The two packs, which can also be purchased together as a bundle, add a new mountain to the game as well as a set of retro SSX characters.

First up is the Mt. Eddie pack, a Tricky-inspired descent which features nine drops in all -- with both Race and Trick variants -- as well as a handful of new music tracks, including two from a previous game. The Classic Characters pack delivers seven retro characters, each with his or her own unique snowboard and apparel options. Each pack will cost $5.99 separately (or the MS Points equivalent). You can also shave off a few dollars by getting the whole bundle, for $7.99.
