Today you have your first official look at the gameplay in the upcoming Danger Close FPS, Medal of Honor Warfighter, compliments of a newly released trailer from Electronic Arts. What you're seeing is snippets of gameplay pulled from a media-only demo at GDC 2012 in which Tier 1 Operators move to defuse a hostage crisis in the Philippines.
Medal of Honor Warfighter hits stores on October 23, 2012. The game is built on DICE's Frostbite 2 engine, the same one that powered 2011's Battlefield 3. For a little more context on what's going on in this video, be sure to take a peek at our Medal of Honor Warfighter GDC 2012 preview.

I'm hoping for a longer campaign than their last one.
I Love FPS's but seriously, they need to start putting in more than a 4 hour campaign.
If they want to start limiting used game sales more, they need to make their games more enjoyable in the long term, not have a completely different developer (DICE) make their online mode (like they did in the reboot) in an attempt to entice people to keep the game.
A FPS with a 16-20 hour campaign? I'd hang on to that forever if it was high quality.
Mass Effect has all of the visuals as a FPS in terms of graphics and processing power, why can't FPS games have long campaigns?

So, excited for this game! Loved the 2010 reboot of MoH. This one looks to be 10 times better!

absolutely loved the last MoH game. played the campaign through 4 times, and that alone was worth the money. the online was meh tbh. no killcam made it easy for campers, esp with the low health/high damage, which ever it was, you had little chance to survive a camper. if they fix the online they will have the best shooter to come out yet (that ive played) they already have the campaign, just hope they make it as good if not better then the last one.

Should be a great game the last Medal of Honor was lacking but they were close. With the help of the Frostbite engine a little sprinkle of what makes call of duty and battlefield 3 great games we could have a winner.

Never cared for Medal of Honor but if its using the Frostbite engine used for Battlefield 3, I'm going to be keeping an eye on this game.

Medal Of Honor was good but it wasn't as great as i wanted it to be. MoH should be a series to rival CoD and i think they might finally do that with Warfighter. I hope. *fingers crossed* on this one.

Medal of honor was the game that brought me out of the age of my super nintendo, i am glad its still going strong despite all the other shooters, its a great series in its own right.
