Dragon Age 3 hasn't officially been announced yet but that doesn't stop details about the game from being discussed. BioWare has hinted they have heard the cries of their fans and are actively working on addressing them in the next Dragon Age game, which will most likely be Dragon Age 3. The primary complaint was that Dragon Age 2 felt like an afterthought, a rushed game based on the same themes as Dragon Age, but not a true, or even spiritual, sequel.
At BioWare's Dragon Age panel at PAX East 2012, a few devs mused about the next Dragon Age game, hypothetically of course. Gamers who played Dragon Age 2 seemed to have common requests for the next game in the series; stop reusing dungeons, have choices that actually matter, and allow companions to have customizable armor.
To the first request, stop using the same levels, BioWare responded with a slide stating, "Will do!" In regards to the second request, choices that matter, the panel agreed. Choices from past DA games may impact the next game, similar to Mass Effect. Lastly, you'll be able to customize your party to your heart's content.

I would like to chreat your own class and abilities I also wouldnt mind that your characters desitions mater that ther are many options in the game that effect your future like you can chuse to be a good or bad gay that you feal like you controle your character.And I would like that Morrigan iz back in the game.Please take this under concidoration I think these ar good ideas.

I was a little disappointed that in DA:2 you couldn't pick your race and i thought it would be cool if you brought it back but can you make them look a lot cooler and I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this but in DA:Origins and DA:2 the Elf's look like pixies and the dwarfs looked like chubby babies still learning to walk well awesome chubby babies who get wasted and maybe just maybe a new race for character customization.
I loved the combat fighting in DA:2 so it would be cool if the fighting was kind of like that and I saw the new Dragon Age Movie the fighting gave me the chills I loved it.

I would Like to suggest a type of Multi-player. Such as co-op gameplay or and option to dual with characters fron the game or your custome character.
Bring back the open world but outside of Ferelden.
Bring back the Warden And the option to be off non-human decent.

I think there is a lot of naive people out there. Anyone into this kind of RPG has got to be realistic enough to know that the moment you allow a player to wander from a fixed path/story you're going to be limited in the potential for sequels. Mass Effect (epic game) is a great example of how all those choices resulted in this hugh literal explosion of an ending that really was totally incomprehensible and strangely detached from one of the main appeals of this RPG style (the characters - what happened to them anyway?!).
Basically, think small. Big choices with small results that you WON'T directly see. I think Morrigan baby/no baby and the cure/no cure genophage are perfect examples of game producers backing themselves into a corner, because how can they possibly represent both choices in another game? I mean, god baby or no god baby. a million more krogan or none at all. these things impact a game too much to ever be properly represented. and obv you could just drop in a morrigan baby to fill the cracks but thats a rip because it defeats the point of the choice. obvs that was the last mass effect game in that canon so no worries there but dragon age WILL upset people. They will have no option but to nullify some of our choices. It won't be your world as you know it, just sit back and enjoy any bones they throw your way.
As long as I get to kill stuff and have my pick of sexy romances whilst being made to care about a thoughtful and spirited storyline I dont mind what they do. (not so many unpreventable deaths as me3 though please)

Well...I loved both of dragon age...but of course origins was more interesting...I think if they merge both games will be the best and if they imput some more romance options and more romance freedom with whoever you likein the game it would be perfect!!!As well I loved dragon age's 2 auto attack target and dragon age origins romance and friendships options on talking.I aslo loved they dragon age 2 voice input and I thing it woulld be good if they put more that 1 voice to choose for your character and more options of things to do in game between the main quests not to feel so boring like events with friends or romantic scenes!!! In my opinion dragon age has the best gameplay but needs a bit of character action freedom?What is your opinion guys?

I'd like to pick up on the warden story line. It would be great to be able to import my warden from Dragon Age 1 as the main character, and see a few familiar faces from 1 & 2 (Morrigan, Zevran, Anders (if not dead in DA2), Isabela.. Also introduction of some new characters, and a large squad like DA1.

I would love to see the Grey Wardens and Morrgian and the child and have a story line with that. That kept me very interested in the game and it just left everyone hanging who choose that path.

You know what I'd like to see? I would like to see a "canon" female protagonist. The protagonist that is marketed, that we see in all of the advertisements. Dragon Age one and two both advertised male Warden and male Hawke. ME3 got a little better by creating some ads featuring female Shepard, but that is all kind of soured when you specify those ads as "female Shepard"...like "Okay, there's your little dose of pandering! Now back to the REAL protagonist". No. None of that. I mean straight-up ads with the female version of the protagonist, and that's it. No "Wow! Female (X)!". I'd actually be okay if it advertised both male and female, as long as it either just called them both the protagonist without reference to gender, or referenced gender in both of them. But not calling the male version "(X)" and the female version "female (X)". Though I'd like exclusively advertising the female version better. Since...you know...DA1, DA2, ME1, and ME2 all were exclusively male in advertisements. Come on. Give us ladies our time now...
(also especially because the female voice actors in DA / ME for protags are -alway, always- better...really, that's my whole reason for why "Femshep" should be "The Shep"...much better voice actor)
Another thing I would like, which was lacking somewhat in DA:2 compared to Origins, is the strong attention to character and character relationships. Well-written characters that each have not only a dynamic with the player, but different ways of interacting with each other. The characters and bonds are what drew me to Bioware in the first place. I love characters, and love seeing them become real, and interacting in a way that makes them real - that shows they aren't just there to supply you with extra firepower, but exist entirely on their own.
I also, and this is more of a personal wish than a general one, would like to see Morrigan again. She is my favorite Bioware character.

and was anyone else annoyed by the psycotic loading images specially of darktown or the hanged man????. I want the dark element but not too much OK? excess of everythings bad.REDUCE ONLY THE PSYCHONESS IN LOADING IMAGES. NOT THE BLOOD AND GORE DURING GAMEPLAY!!! u know we love that ;) :)

Guys i see many of you want morrigan and child back into the story. But many of us dont . everyone didnt have that particular ending. so here is a suggestion. They should bring back morrigan and the child IF we have related story in our imported saves!! and if we didnt have that particular ending in origins, then no morrigan and no baby!!!. And another suggestion : in dragon age 2 u cant talk to ur party members anytime but we could do it in origins. So i think that the origins thing was much better becoz we could interact more with party members. And finally if u r planning on giving us a chantry dude, THEN DONT RESTRICT CLASS TO WARRIOR ONLY!!!!

I just finished dragon age origins(again). I think it's the best game i've played on xbox by far. Origins compared to DA 2 was soooooo much better, I don't like to get too many characters as in DA2, felt like they were just coming in all the time and can't really get to know them. Also i hate being trapped in a city, I hope the 3rd one will be more free. basicly what i want is a origins all over again but maybe outside ferelden. only 1 thing i missed in origins was a talent reset, just one would be enough. more armor/weapon sets too, and specially quests and bosses to get specific items from (Like the revenant quest in bracilian forest) and as so many others say: a search for morrigan would be exciting!

Dragon Age: Origins is a classic PC game. I loved everything about it and as far as I'm concerned the story for dragon age 2 and the entire mage-templar war would have been better off as background lore. The only story I want to play is the direct sequel to my Grey Warden, the witch Morrigan, and the child with the soul of an OLD GOD.

Dragon Age: Origins was my favorite out of all 3 games. At first I wasn't pleased about Anders and Justice fusing together, but then I felt Justice's cry for help and why they did it. I am finally glad you guys added the chantry blowing up :P Sebastian, Petricia ( I think that's her name) and Her Grace really annoyed me as they did not agree with mages and blamed everyone but themselves. I hope Bioware keeps up the good work and I hope Dragon Age 3 is the best one yet! :D

I want Morrigan and the Grey Warden back. It was the biggest thing I disliked about DA:II I missed them. They were a big part of my fun playing the first one. I got overly excited when Alistair came back. I just want a link back to the first one. I'd love to be able to go find Morrigan, something to do with the child and all that.
