Namco Bandai have announced Dragon Ball Z for Kinect. You'll be able to become a Super Saiyan with this first-person fighting game, complete with over 50 characters from the DBZ universe. Not only will you be able to play as your favorite characters, but you'll be able to use their famous moves as well. The game will incorporate over 100 moves from the series, like the famous Kamehameha, but you'll also be able to punch, kick, and do other special moves with your arms and legs.
Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will be out in October 2012.

I hate the kinect with a passion. i think it should die, or at least get proper peripherals, BUT, the idea of doing a kamehameha with this does put a bit of a smile on my face.

Um...this has fail written all over it. They're just now getting the hang of how to create anime games with a controller and they want to create one that doesn't use a controller. Yep, it's going to fail. Don't get me wrong, the fans will eat it up, but its still going to suck.

I'm kinda hyped now, I love DBZ, I love a new DBZ fighting game every once in a while. I think this will provide a lot of entertainment. Looking forward to future trailers/information.

I remember mimicking the moves back in like 2001. I hope they do some impressive work, because faking a kamehameha over this would be pretty sad.

At first I didnt want to buy a Kinect but when Mass Effect 3 came out I started to want one but didnt buy one. Now I am and if I dont I give permission for someone to Kick my ass! lol Thumbs up if still to this day you watch Dragon Ball Z!!!!! (I do!)

I for one don't think it's that bad of an idea. If pulled off right it'd be a lot of fun, the nostalgia pays off for you.
They didn't ruin anything by trying to branch it out a little DBZ is perfect for motion controls. Don't like it don't pay attention to it simple.
