When Square Enix and IO Interactive release Hitman: Absolution -- sometime in 2012, last we heard -- super-fans will be able to pony up a little more scratch in exchange for a bonus-packed Professional Edition version of the game. How much more this package will cost isn't clear, but there are a good amount of actual and virtual extras to pick over.
The Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition will come packed inside of a clamshell case that contains a hardbound art book and a behind-the-scenes doc. You'll also receive a DLC code that unlocks access to a couple of extra weapons: the Agency Jagd P22G pistol (silenced), the Agency HX UMP SMG, and the Agency SPS 12 semi-automatic shotgun. Stay tuned for pricing. And hopefully, eventually, an actual release date.

I love DLC content. I'm a DLC Who or e.
I will most likely get the PE to get the DLC and because I'm a huge Hitman fan. I still play Blood Money every once a while. It's the perfect replayable game because you can set up your own challenges (killing everyone with a knife or specific scene without being seen). I do wish there were more Xbox 360 games that were Hitman games.
I'm very excited for this game. I'm glad Edios didn't end Hitman (or Thief). And I hope they end Kane and Lynch.
An HD edition of the Hitman games would be great! Both for PS3 fans and for Xbox 360.
Hitman is one of those games where I feel the missions are what makes the game and the Storyline is an added bonus if you enjoy the storyline. I enjoy the storyline of Blood Money (some of the previous games have been lacking in good storyline). It's like Assassin's Creed. I don't care for the storyline at all (I know I know I'm sure it's beautiful and interesting and a cool mix of historical fact and fiction, but I don't care to look at it) but the gameplay is so Freaking Fun that i don't need a storyline to enjoy it.

Hopefully they'll keep it at a price that's semi reasonable, like 70 bucks. But that probably won't happen.

As long as they aren't going with Capcom's pricing I think everything will be ok.
