Electronic Arts and Crytek haven't officially confirmed the existence of Crysis 3, but an apparently accidental early switch-flipping on EA's Origin service went and revealed the game ahead of schedule. Product listings for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC "Limited Edition" releases appeared briefly, along with a logo image featuring a NanoSuit-clad, bow-wielding hero-type.
It didn't take long for the listing to be pulled down, but NeoGAF (via Destructoid) was quicker on the draw this time. The images are preserved on the mega-forum and reproduced here (both above and after the jump) for your perusal. Evidence suggests that the actual reveal will be coming soon, in the pages of Gamereactor.
[UPDATE] EA has announced that they'll share more information on Crysis 3 on Monday, April 16. So far, we know that the game will take place in a destroyed New York which has almost become a jungle at this point, combining the settings of the first two Crysis titles.

Let's hope they go back to open world. I hated the way everything was so confined in the second one. Not to mention they dropped the ball for the PC version with no DX11 out of the gate.

Damn it EA! Crysis 2 was ok, but you guys just don't know what games to make do you? Crysis 2 just came out! I need Mirrors Edge 2!!! Been waiting for that game forever. Make it longer than the first one, use the Frostbite 2 engine, it would fit in perfectly. Please!!!

Started Crysis 1, made it through about 2 levels before I was bored. I really wanted to like it... But I just couldn't make myself play it more.

Never liked Crysis... gameplay is way too similar to Halo and the only thing it really has going for it is in the looks department.
Looks great, but the gameplay could always be better.

Limited Edition is not the same thing as Collectors Edition. Limited Edition usually refers to the digital version of the game and is usually only different if you pre-order it. Granted even then you are paying some extra. It's possible that we're finally seeing the pricepoint of games drop if you purchase them digitally, where as in the past you would pay the same amount as a physical copy.,

The price may be a tad low but that doesn't mean anything. It is way early before its release date and @sarid, EA sells limited edition games at the same price of the regular edition all the time. BFBC/2? Battlefield 3? It will just mean that you get some minuscule in-game item for pre-ordering the limited edition.

It might be a downloadable for XB also; they did it for Crysis 1. That would warrant a 49.99 pricepoint. Love the series.
