Capcom is going to be offering a high-end Premium Edition of Resident Evil 6 when the game launches in Japan on October 4, 2012, and it'll be carring an insane price tag of 105,000 yen. At current conversion rates, that comes out to roughly $1,300 here in the United States (via Destructoid). It's a Japan-only release, but U.S. residents who are willing to fork over that kind of scratch for a video game can probably afford the import costs as well.
The package includes a copy of the game (Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3), a set of four character-branded tablet covers (Chris, Leon, Wesker Jr., and an unrevealed one), and a replica of Leon's leather jacket. You can get more details from Capcom's official Resident Evil 6 page (called Biohazard 6 in Japan), though you won't glean much unless you're able to read Japanese.

Ummmm just WOW!!!! okay Capcom we get it you feel bad about what Slant Six did to resident evil its cool we know you weren't directly related to that whole deal. No here's the deal, that coat don't look like its made for all shapes of gamers just throwin that out, also that is like my video game budget for the next 4 years, hows about you just give us a NORMAL special edition to make up for the poor bastards like myself who bought the ORC special edition, i men when will i use those patches.....anywho c'mon it will be fun just throw together a art book, a free code for a weapon, some stickers, maybe a keychain, and slap 10 bucks on it for a total of 69.99 we won't mind honest XD

Yet another example of a washed up company trying to milk a popular franchise for all it used to be worth. Sounds like they can't come up with anything original so they're relying purely on fan nostalgia and the Resident Evil name to push the envelope as far as it may go. Only time will tell if they've finally pushed it too far.
I can't see anybody justifying that price for a game just because it happens to come with a leather jacket like the one Leon Kennedy wears in said game. I suggest if you really wanted Leon's jacket replicated so badly you get in touch with an experienced cosplayer and ask them how to modify a jacket of the same likeness, or go online and check with cosplay-oriented store. Now I realize that particular costume is from Resident Evil 4 and not the Resident Evil 2/6 design, but that's just from a couple minutes searching. I can't be bothered looking for something I don't really care about. I'm sure you could find another place that does that particular jacket if you really cared.

Also keep in mind that the jacket is likely to be in Japanese sizes, which are somewhat smaller than US & European sizes. I've got a Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta 15th anniversary jacket (#128/500!), and it's almost too small for me (i'm 6'2", 185 lbs).
