It came out this week that Sony is not doing too well financially. After the news dropped that the company was posting a multi-million dollar loss for the year, a lot of journalists and analysts decided to discuss what they think might be a better path for Sony to follow. Very few games on the PS3 actually utilize the complete Chip Processor. It takes time and people who are experienced with this language and logic of code. I do feel sorry that they're already moving on.
SONY has folded to Microsoft's hand, which are a pair of 3's.
They have to develop for the inferior xbox360 in order to make ends meet, which forces them to cut the labor and time for developing the game to the PS3's true potential -- i.e slower frame rates, longer loading times, glitching and freezing (which is why I never finished ME2).
Oh well.
