Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly was working at one point on a sequel but has since moved on to tackle something else, something that Epic Games president Mike Capps describes as "a better fit" for the Poland-based studio. Capps didn't reveal what the game is in his PAX East 2012 interview with Gamespot, but he did confirm that it will be announced soon.
This isn't to say that you'll never see a second round for the first-person shooter built around epic spectacles and murdering with style, but it's not going to happen yet. "I'd love to go back [to Bulletstorm]," Capps said. "I think there's more to do with Bulletstorm. Heck, it kind of ended wanting more. I'd love to see another project, but right now we don't have anything to talk about."
It was a busy PAX for Epic. In addition to this Bulletstorm news, there's also word of work being underway on an unannounced PC-exclusive title -- could this be the People Can Fly game? -- as well as confirmation from Cliff Bleszinski that the previously rumored Gears of War: Exile was real at one point but has since been canceled.
