The just-released Resident Evil 6 story video contains a ton of information about the direction of the Resident Evil franchise (as well as Resident Evil 6's release date), but maybe most importantly, the return of Wesker... who's called Wesker Junior here, and could be Wesker's son or could be a clone or could be something else altogether. It's all kinds of nuts.
Kevin Kelly was lucky enough to attend Capcom's Resident Evil 6 presentation at Captivate, and brought back a Resident Evil 6 preview for you. Here's a little taste of Wesker's storyline:
"Jake Muller’s is the third story in the game, and it begins in the fictional Eastern European country of Edonia. The place is in a state of civil strife, and Muller is a mercenary who will do anything for money. His father abandoned his family when he was young, so Jake does anything he can to send money back to his mother. His partner is fan-favorite Sherry Birkin, who makes a return to the Resident Evil franchise. She tells him that he has the ability to save the world, which confuses him. However, as the audience (who has seen the trailer), we know that Jake is actually Wesker’s son, and the heir to a very special blood type."

I guess everyone makes mistakes...Albert Wesker, that is, knocking up some chick before the Mansion Incident. (Don't actually know this for sure, just speculating, lol)

Sherry?! Everyone seemed to be sure it was Ashley from 4. But I could see it being her. Back when playing 4 for the first time, I expected them to drop a plot twist towards the end that they were the same person, (since they would be roughly the same age, etc.) but that never happened.

Haha, Edonia isn't a fictional place. It is an ancient place that is nolonger called Edonia. But its real.

Its Alex Wesker. Read the file in Lost in Nightmares. There were 13 Weskers and only 2 survived.
