Killer Is Dead Concept Art Hints At Futuristic Setting, Angry Godzilla-Man

The freshly revealed Killer is Dead, part of the same partnership between Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games that will soon give us Lollipop Chainsaw, has gotten its first batch of concept art. The images, most of which are in black & white, show off a fantastical, futuristic setting (via Andriasang). You also get a few glimpses of a bespectacled, sword-wielding man in a suit, presumably the game's protagonist.

Suda 51's recent Famitsu reveal of Killer is Dead gave only the barest of details on what to expect. Players will take control of an assassin of some sort, known as the "Executioner," as he circles the globe in a hunt for "S level criminals." Suda also mentioned that the game isn't a work of science fiction, though some of the newly posted images certainly suggest otherwise. What do you think?
