Mass Effect 3's "Resurgence" multiplayer DLC has been announced... and it's free. Resurgence will be available for download on April 10, 2012.
Owners of Mass Effect 3 can download the first multiplayer expansion and add new unlockable content: deadly weapons, new consumables, and new characters for each class in multiplayer, including the Asari Justicar, Batarian, Geth, and Krogan Battlemaster. Smart of them to put this out free of charge; most people I know wouldn't pay for anything on this game till the ending got changed.

I'm surprised the rumors about this were true, though to survive I really think they need to at least double the map pool, this is a good start but I hope to see alot more content to keep us playing this.

Its to bad this didn't come out before this weekend, oh well. This looks awesome I cannot wait. The mp has been a surprisingly awesome addition to Mass Effect.

nothing about the ending yet....i could seriously care less about the multiplayer, I only played it in the first place to boost my score in the game.

I suppose making it free is their way to justify the Multiplayer Unlock code that only comes with new games. Seeing how a multiplayer expansion pack is usually $10 and buying a used copy of a recently released AAA game saves you about $5 I suppose that's fair. So long as the DLC doesn't stand for Disk Locked Content. Then again, if its free this time, I guess that doesn't really matter. Frankly, I've found the multiplayer surprisingly enjoyable. It's well suited for people who usually prefer to play single player games over multiplayer. I still have faith in Bioware, since they apperar to be trying their best to satisfy us.

Oh my goodness, first the announcement of the free cinematic to expand the ending and now this awesome collection of multiplayer content... for free! Krogan Vanguard!? Really!? Never expected that. The Geth are even more badass. I think BioWare just made their apology loud and clear. I forgive. :)
