Sony has announced the release date of Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention. The colorful PlayStation Vita RPG will be out on April 17, 2012.
Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention is an upgraded version of 2008's Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice for the PlayStation 3. It's a turn-based strategy RPG filled to the brim with humorous characters who engage in delinquent activities in order to become an Honor Student at Evil Academy, where the only one rule is, "One shall not follow school regulations." Things like skipping class, performing evil experiments, and enslaving your foes are all acceptable on this campus. Ah, it feels so good to be bad.
The Vita version is coming with all sorts of new content. It will come with all of Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice's numerous DLC packs, as well as new characters, two new episodes, a new tier of magic called the Tera level, and a bunch of new Vita-specific features, like more map controls and GPS functionality. The GPS will track how far you travel while you're playing the game and will turn that distance in to a stat boost called Honor Quotient.
Sounds like the perfect game to have while on the go. Are you going to pick up Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention?
