Polytron Corporation has at long last confirmed an Xbox Live Arcade release date for the inventive platformer Fez: April 13, 2012. The news is confirmed in a post from Phil Fish on Polytron's website featuring a flashing animated GIF that I won't reproduce here for fear of giving some of you readers a seizure.
The Friday the 13th release will cost you 800 MS Points, also known at roughly $10 in real world money. That's the extent of the news, but it should be enough for those of you who have been (im)patiently waiting for the game's release. Fez was first announced in 2007 and later went on to win the IGF's Excellence in Visual Art award in 2008. Be sure to check out our Fez hands-on preview from PAX East 2011 if you want to know more.
