BioWare's ill-fated Mass Effect FPS, Mass Effect: Team Assault never saw a release date but there may have been video captured before the plug was pulled. A few videos have popped up on YouTube claiming to be footage from Mass Effect: Team Assault. Turns out they were right, the footage below comes from The Final Hours of Mass Effect. Behold, the ME FPS that never was.
Mass Effect: Team Assault kind of reminds of Halo. Would you have preferred this to Galaxy at War mode?

you're all kind of stupid for saying it looks like halo get your video game right guys...it looks EXACTLY! like unreal tournament 2004 from the vehicles to the weapons to the text...pretty sure this was a video of an unreal tournament 2004 mod even the enviroments for that matter

It does look a lot like Halo. I would have prefered it though to Galaxy at War assuming it wasn't a multiplayer mode because there is nothing worse to me than my enjoyment of a game being dependent on a bunch of random strangers.

Agreed. It looks kinda like Halo, probably a UT 2004 mod, but I'm sure I would still enjoy it more than the current or next CoD. Military shooters currently are just so meh to me....... I seriously hope Prey 2 doesn't get cancelled.

Yeah, but what we ended up with was just like halo as well, or gears. Their Horde/Firefight mode is no different, still a tacked on MP.

looks interesting, but honestly, i could see alot of people talking crap about it. probably calling it a "Rip off of Halo" or Bioware trying to make Mass Effect more like Call of Duty. Probably better off this way, at least for now.

Ya it looks like Halo, but I absolutely love the Mass Effect world, and wouldn't mind more ways to dive into it.

while it does look like halo it would be pretty cool to use all the different vehicles and powers against other players

It is in fact Unreal...or at least it is in the UDK engine...the biggest give away is when they player gets in the vehicles...the icon that appears on the hud "hit e to enter" is the UDK prompt...I work with this engine on a daily basis, and so yeah, I am calling this one...it was either in such an early stage and using the base Unreal engine...or, more likely...it is a fake, just a clever Unreal mod.
